Gift to Agency Report

California Code of Regulations section 18944.2 sets forth circumstances under which a payment made to a local government agency that provides a personal benefit to a public official is not considered a gift to the individual public official, provided the agency controls use of the payment, the payment is used for official agency business, and the agency reports the gift within 30 days after use of the payment on a Form 801 prescribed by the Fair Political Practices Commission. The Clerk of the Board shall retain completed Form 801s and post a copy of the form on its website. This regulation does not apply to certain payments, including passes or tickets governed under 2 CCR section 18944.1.
